We currently operate with two large adjoining high stud workshops of 1500 & 1200 square metres in floor area, with access to a third 1500 square metre workshop for special projects. The main workshop of 1500 square metres is dedicated to the service and repair of all types and sizes of electrical machines and control equipment. The access in and around the building is excellent with ample space for trucks and articulated trailers to load and off-load. The main workshop gantry crane has a lifting capacity of 12.6 tonne, (2 x 6.3 tonne hoists). Much larger loads can be lifted inside the workshop using mobile cranes. Machines can be off-loaded onto the floor where they can be dismantled using the overhead cranes. The adjoining workshop of 1200 square metres is divided into two. One half is dedicated to our machining & fabrication shop, and the second half is kept clear for the dismantling and repair of large motors & generators. The workshop gantry crane has a lifting capacity of 20 tonne (2 x 10 tonne hoists.) A third 1500 square metre workshop situated alongside our main workshop is available for special projects and machine storage. This workshop has two gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 40 tonnes (4 x 10 tonne hoists).
